ENCOM officers to be trained in Investigations

Three senior officers from the Enforcement and Compliance Division (ENCOM) will undergo a two months advanced investigations course at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) training school starting 13th October 2011. 

Speaking at a brief send off ceremony, the KFS Commandant Col (rtd) John Kimani said that the training was in line with the division’s plan to build capacity of officers in the various specialized fields in order to improve service delivery especially in the area of forest protection.

“I expect you to uphold the good image of the Service by maintaining discipline and hard work throughout your training”, said the Commandant reminding them that KFS would be relying on their skills when they return. 

The three officers; Inspector Miriam Njoroge from ENCOM headquarters, Inspector Rogers Murimi from Nairobi Conservancy and Inspector Noah Otieno from Eastern Conservancy will join other officers from the Police Department for the 60 days course.
